National Cupcake Day
I’m giving away free cupcakes.
UPDATE: I’ve received my three stories, but I’m enjoying them so much that I’m giving out more cupcakes. Keep sending those stories in.
Today is National Cupcake Day, and in honor of the day and to celebrate my favorite baker and good friend Cath, I’ve decided to give away a dozen cupcakes to the first
threesix people who tell me a real-life story about how a cupcake made someone smile.(Granted, I haven’t told Cath about this contest yet, so if she’s too busy with holiday orders, you’ll have to wait until her schedule frees up a little to get your cupcakes, okay?)
So here are the details:
- Send me a story (a few paragraphs of text, a video, an audio clip, photo-essay, etc.) about cupcakes and smiles. The story has to be true, but other than that, I have no other restrictions. I’ll publish the stories on I Tell Stories.
- I will buy the first
threesix people who send me a story a dozen cupcakes. If you live in the Greater Toronto Area, those cupcakes will be made and delivered by Sugar Baking (when her schedule is free and can make them) and you’re welcome to choose any kind of cupcake on her list. If you’re not in the Greater Toronto Area, I’ll buy you a dozen cupcakes from your favorite cupcake shop, up to $30 total cost. That’s all. Email me stories, I’ll buy you cupcakes. And if I get more than
threesix (though I highly doubt I’ll even get that many) I might even consider having more thanthreesix free cupcake prizes. Because it’s National Cupcake Day, and everyone deserves a good cupcake. And if you’re in the Greater Toronto Area and you’re looking for amazing cupcakes, check out Sugar Baking.
